The Council of the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe hereby gives notice that it is considering the passing of a Procedure By-Law.
The purpose of this By-Law is to establish rules governing the calling, place, and proceedings of meetings for Council, committees, and local boards, in accordance with the Municipal Act. The Procedure By-Law will outline how meetings are conducted, including provisions for public participation, decision-making processes, and the roles of Council members.
The proposed Procedure By-law will be discussed at the following meeting:
- Date: Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024
- Time: 7:00 pm
- Location: Council Chamber (2340 Egremont Dr, Strathroy, ON, N7G 3H6)
Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting and provide input. Written submissions will also be accepted and must be received by Friday, October 18th.
A copy of the proposed By-Law is available on the municipal website. Copies can also be obtained at the Municipal Office.
