Are you a young community member looking for an exciting way to make a difference, develop life-saving skills, and gain invaluable experience? The Township of Adelaide Metcalfe Fire Department is now recruiting for our Junior Firefighter Program.
This program is a fantastic opportunity for youth to:
- Learn teamwork, leadership, and responsibility.
- Gain hands-on experience in fire safety and emergency response.
- Build skills that can pave the way for a future in firefighting and other public service careers.
Junior Firefighter positions require attendance at high school, college or university.
The Junior Firefighter must reside in the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe.
The minimum age requirement of a Junior Firefighter is the age of 16. Permission from the Junior Firefighter's parents or guardians is required if they are under 18 years of age.
