Administrator/Clerk Office

The Administrator/Clerk is the head of staff at the municipality.  The Administrator/Clerk acts as the primary liaison between staff and council, ensuring that council's directives are properly implemented by various departments and providing support to council in their policy, planning and budgeting functions.

The Administrator/Clerk ensures programs and policies are implemented in a timely and efficient manner and within the goals and values of the organization.  Additionally, the Administrator/Clerk acts as the primary point of contact between the municipality and the community.

The Administrator/Clerk carries out a variety of duties, as defined by the Municipal Act and as directed by council, including the preparation of council meeting agendas, recording of minutes and distribution of communication resulting from Council proceedings.
